Job Title Painters – Nuclear Projects Summary NRL urgently requires experienced Painters to join long-term nuclear projects in West Cumbria. This opportunity is ideal for qualified trades professionals who are looking for secure, ongoing work in a highly regulated environment. The role includes excellent pay under the CIJC agreement and additional benefits for non-local candidates. Salary £16.40 per hour (plus overtime opportunities) – paid in line with CIJC agreement. Location: West Cumbria
Working pattern: 5-day working week, with potential overtime
Must hold or be eligible for SC clearance

Carry out painting and decorating duties as required by project specifications
Apply specialist coatings and finishes to surfaces
Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding and priming where necessary
Follow health and safety protocols at all times
Maintain tools and equipment in good working order
Complete work efficiently to agreed timescales
Report progress and any issues to supervisors as requiredMust-have Requirements
NVQ Level 3 in Painting and Decorating (or equivalent relevant qualifications)
Valid CSCS card
IOSH Working Safely (or equivalent certification)
Experience in industrial or commercial painting
Ability to obtain SC clearanceNice-to-have Skills
Previous experience working on nuclear or highly regulated sites
