We are looking for reliable and hardworking Packing Operatives to join our busy production team. The successful candidates will play a key role in the packing and preparation of fresh produce, ensuring all products meet quality standards and customer specifications.
This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced environment and requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities

Packing fresh produce in accordance with customer requirements and company standards.

Inspecting products for quality, freshness, and presentation.

Labelling and preparing orders for dispatch.

Maintaining a clean and hygienic working environment.

Following food safety, health and safety, and hygiene procedures at all times.

Operating packing equipment safely and efficiently (training provided where required).

Reporting any quality concerns, equipment faults, or health and safety issues to supervisors.

Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve daily production targets.

Assisting with other warehouse and production duties as required.
Requirements

Previous experience in a production, packing, warehouse, or food manufacturing environment would be advantageous but is not essential.

Good attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.

Ability to work in a physically demanding role, including standing for extended periods and manual handling duties.

Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.

Flexible approach to working hours, including overtime during peak periods if required.

Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Must have a Level 2 Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
