Wynnstay Group is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Mill Operative to support the efficient day-to-day operation of the Mill. Reporting to the Site Manufacturing Manager, this hands-on role is central to ensuring production runs smoothly, safely and in line with quality and regulatory standards.
As part of the site operations team, you will carry out routine mill operator duties, including cleaning and housekeeping tasks, while operating plant machinery.
You will play an important role in maintaining high standards of health & safety, quality compliance and UFAS procedures, helping to ensure the consistent production of high-quality animal feed.

Responsibilities:
Effectively performing routine Mill Operator tasks, including a variety of cleaning duties, to support the daily operation of the Mill
Working safely within a noisy and dusty environment whilst operating the plant machinery
Ensuring compliance with various quality procedures and regulations
Ensuring that all health and safety, and UFAS procedures are followed, and ensuring that any necessary changes in procedures are properly implemented

Essential:
Be able to communicate and build relationships
Self-motivated with the ability to work on own initiative
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Be willing to work towards any specific training required for the role
Have a passion for the farming and agricultural industry
Desirable:
Prior experience as a Mill Operative or Agricultural Experience
