Associate Solicitor – Pensions | 1–3 years' PQE | Hybrid

A leading UK law firm is looking to recruit an ambitious 1–3 years' PQE Pensions Associate to join its established and highly regarded Pensions team in Guildford.
This is an exciting opportunity for a solicitor with experience in pensions law to work on a varied and high-quality caseload, advising a broad client base of trustees, employers and pension scheme providers.
You will join a supportive and collaborative team where you will have the opportunity to develop your technical expertise, gain valuable client exposure and take on increasing responsibility as your career progresses.
The Opportunity
You will work alongside experienced partners and senior lawyers across a broad range of pensions and life assurance matters, including:

Advising trustees and employers on day-to-day pension and life assurance scheme matters

Providing advice on scheme governance, benefit structures and regulatory compliance

Supporting pensions aspects of corporate transactions, including due diligence and drafting

Drafting and reviewing scheme documentation, member communications and legal advice

Undertaking legal research and advising on developments in pensions legislation and regulation

Attending client meetings and helping to deliver practical, commercially focused solutions

Contributing to business development, pitches and thought leadership initiatives
About You
We are looking for a qualified solicitor in England & Wales with 1–3 years' PQE and experience or exposure to pensions law.
You will ideally demonstrate:

Commercial awareness and an understanding of client objectives

Excellent organisation and the ability to manage competing priorities
