Fab Shop Platers – Teesside
We are currently recruiting experienced Fab Shop Platers for an established engineering and fabrication business in Teesside.
Key Responsibilities

Fabricate and assemble structural steelwork and fabricated components.

Read and interpret engineering drawings and fabrication plans.

Mark out, cut, fit and prepare steel components for welding.

Work closely with welders and other fabrication trades.

Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.

Ensure all work is completed to the required quality and dimensional standards.

Follow company health and safety procedures at all times.
Requirements
-
Proven experience as a Fab Shop Plater.

Strong ability to read and work from engineering drawings.
-
Experience with structural steel fabrication.
-
Competent with fabrication tools and equipment.
-
Good understanding of welding and fabrication processes.
-
Reliable, hardworking and safety-conscious.
-
Relevant qualifications or trade certification preferred
