Logistics Support Administrator
£13.50ph, Monday to Friday 9am till 2pm, Temporary, Immediate start
Due to continued success, a Corby site of a global manufacturing company has an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Support Administrator to join them, You will provide key and varied support to a busy logistics team:
Provide administrative support to the logistics and operations teams.
Coordinate and schedule deliveries, collections, and transport bookings.
Process and maintain accurate records of orders, shipments, and stock movements.
Liaise with customers, drivers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders regarding delivery schedules and updates.
Monitor transport and delivery activities and escalate any issues when required.
Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and logistics documentation.
Maintain accurate data within company systems.
Handle incoming calls and emails promptly and professionally.
Support inventory and stock control activities when required.
Assist with general office administration duties.We would expect the successful Logistics Support Administrator to be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, be an excellent communicator and have a friendly confident manner. You will be supported 1 to 1 to become familiar with the company processes and procedures. This would be an ideal role for you have worked within logistics administration, transport administration position.
You will be joining the Corby site of a company that has been established for over 25 years with an enviable reputation in their field of manufacturing. Working directly for the Logistics Manager, this role offers variety on a daily basis. The organisation name is synonymous with delivering outstanding products, and they are keen to recruit a Logistics Support Administration who offers the same.
