About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Multi Trade Operative to undertake a range of maintenance, repair, refurbishment and associated construction works across assigned properties in and around High Wycombe.
You will be responsible for completing works safely, efficiently and to a high standard, using your broad range of trade skills to support the wider delivery programme and ensure properties are maintained and completed to the required standard.
Working closely with the wider delivery team, you will undertake a variety of tasks across multiple trades, identify defects and complete remedial works where required.
As a skilled site-based Multi Trade Operative, you will be accountable for the quality of your workmanship, health & safety, housekeeping and professional conduct when working in occupied properties. Your role will be key in ensuring works are completed right-first-time and with minimal disruption to residents.
Hours: 40 hours per week. Overtime as required

Key Responsibilities
Carry out a range of maintenance, repair and refurbishment works across residential properties
Undertake multi-trade works including plastering, carpentry, basic plumbing and other associated building works
Diagnose defects and identify appropriate repair or remedial solutions
Complete works in accordance with specifications, manufacturer guidance and agreed quality standards
Ensure all works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard
Support other trades and members of the delivery team where required
Maintain a clean, safe and professional working environment
Complete all required documentation, photographs and completion records accurately
Identify and report defects, additional works, access issues or other risks to the relevant manager
Work effectively within occupied homes, maintaining respectful conduct and minimising disruption to residents
Ensure materials, tools and equipment are stored, handled and used correctly
Comply with RAMS, site rules, health & safety procedures and environmental requirements
Liaise professionally with residents, colleagues, supervisors and other contractors
Support snagging and remedial works to ensure right-first-time delivery
Maintain productivity against programme requirements
Contribute to a positive site culture focused on safety, quality and professionalism
About You
Proven experience as a Multi Trade Operative within construction, refurbishment or property maintenance
Competent across a range of construction and maintenance trades
Experience working within residential properties, refurbishment or maintenance environments
Strong practical skills and ability to diagnose and resolve defects
Experience working in occupied homes or live environments
Good understanding of health & safety requirements and safe systems of work
Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively to a wider delivery team
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Good communication and customer service skills
Full UK driving licence
