We are particularly looking for QTS tutors with experience in:
Primary education - supporting children across KS1 and KS2 with core subjects
GCSE Core Subjects - particularly English, Maths and Science, supporting students working towards their GCSEs
SEN - working with children and young people with a range of additional needs and helping them access education in a way that works for themMany of these students have experienced difficulties with mainstream education, so the ability to build strong relationships, provide a calm and supportive learning environment, and adapt your teaching to the individual student is essential.
We are looking for tutors who:
Hold QTS
Have experience working with vulnerable children and/or students with SEN
Are confident delivering 1:1 tuition
Can adapt lessons to suit individual needs and abilities
Are patient, reliable and engaging
Are passionate about helping students who have struggled in mainstream educationPay: £25-£30 per hour
We have a high volume of tuition roles across Surrey, so this is a great opportunity for QTS teachers looking for regular, rewarding 1:1 work with students who really benefit from individualised support.
