My client are a specialist civil engineering contractor who are currently seeking a Site Agent to help deliver a long-term tunnelling project in Cambridge, with an immediate start available. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Site Agent with a strong underground civils and tunnelling background.
Tunnelling Site Agent Responsibilities:

Managing day-to-day site operations

Supervising subcontractors and site teams
-
Managing tunnelling and underground works
-
Toolbox talks
-
Client and stakeholder liaison
-
Health and safety compliance
-
Managing RAMS, permits and temporary works
-
Coordinating labour, plant and materials
-
Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to specification
-
Monitoring quality and maintaining site records
-
Reporting progress to the Project Manager
Tunnelling Site Agent Requirements:

Black or Gold CSCS
-
SMSTS
-
Strong tunnelling experience is essential

Previous experience managing underground civils, shafts or tunnelling works
-
Strong civil engineering background
-
Experience managing subcontractors and site teams
-
Good understanding of temporary works and deep excavations
-
Full UK driving licence
