We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician on behalf of our client, a prestigious franchise-approved car dealership located in Newport. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional looking to develop their career within a renowned automotive business.
Working hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm
1 in 4 Saturdays, 8:00am to 1:00pm (paid as overtime)Benefits of the Vehicle Technician:
Salary up to £32,000 per annum, depending on experience and current earnings

Perform fault diagnosis, servicing, and repairs in line with manufacturer standards
Accurately identify faults and report vehicle conditions, safety, reliability, and performance issues to management
Ensure compliance with health & safety standards and work quality procedures at all times
Work within a team to meet quality and efficiency targets
Maintain high standards of workmanship and organise workload effectively
Adhere to franchise dealer procedures and manufacturer guidelines
Contribute to a positive working environment, supporting team members as neededRequirements of the Vehicle Technician:
Ideally based within a reasonable commute to Newport
Qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician within a dealership or franchise environment
Strong diagnostic skills and technical knowledge
Excellent organisational and communication skills
A UK driving licence with minimal points is essential
