Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and experienced class 1 drivers to join our team working around Immingham. We have day/nights and tramping opportunities available

Duties

Operate containers, curtains, fridges
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
Plan routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules while considering traffic patterns and road conditions.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status and any issues that may arise.
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while driving in various conditions.
Assist in the training of new drivers as needed.

Requirements

Valid commercial driver's license plus digi and cpc card
no more than 6 points on license
ideally knowledge of the port
Proven experience in commercial driving or delivery driver roles;
Strong mechanical knowledge of commercial vehicles and basic maintenance skills.
Experience operating heavy equipment or vehicles.
Familiarity with route driving and logistics management.
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
