Job Type: Full-Time Long Term (5 days a week), Day to Day Supply
Pay Rate: £95 - £115 per day
Job Overview:
Supply Staff Ltd is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor for secondary schools across Gloucestershire. This role is ideal for a Behaviour Mentor who is passionate about supporting students to improve their behaviour, build confidence and succeed academically. As a Behaviour Mentor, you will work closely with students facing behavioural challenges, helping them develop positive attitudes and strategies to thrive in school.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students in managing their behaviour and making positive choices.
- Develop and deliver personalised behaviour support plans.
- Work with teachers to monitor student progress, behaviour and attendance.
- Liaise with parents and carers to build positive communication and support.
- Participate in school meetings and contribute to behaviour management strategies.
Requirements:
- Experience working as a Behaviour Mentor or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to build trusting relationships with young people.
- Patience, resilience and a positive attitude.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
- Must meet standard UK school safeguarding requirements.
