Calling all Food Safety Officers or Environmental Health Officers!
I am looking to place a Food Safety Officer, who is searching for their next role until March 2027. The role is a Pay Per Inspection role, to support a very busy Food Safety team in Hertfordshire.
Key Responsibilities:

Carry out approximately (Apply online only) food hygiene inspections (Category D and new/unrated premises) in line with regulatory standards

Undertake inspections across the Hertfordshire District

Ensure all inspections comply with the Food Standards Agency (FSA) Food Law Code of Practice

Manage allocated workload and complete inspections within agreed timeframes
Desirable:
-
Worked for a local authority within an Environmental Health team
-
Lives within Hertfordshire or willing to commute 5 days per week

Has a UK driving license

Ability to manage inspections independently
