Vehicle Technician / Mechanic role with a Level 3 qualification, or Level 2 Technician / Mechanic with 3 years’ experience, for one of the UK’s leading automotive retail groups, working on a wide range of vehicles. Great salary, benefits, overtime and bonus opportunities.

Salary: Up to £45,675 basic per annum, plus bonus, allowance and overtime, OTE £60,000+
Working Hours: 39.5 Hours per week, three-week rotating shift pattern, 1 in 3 Saturdays

We are recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join one of the UK's largest commercial fleets based in North London. Working in a modern workshop, you'll maintain a diverse fleet of light and heavy commercial vehicles, including electric vehicles, using the latest tooling and equipment.
Skills and experience
Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent.
Previous experience working as an HGV Technician, LCV Technician or Commercial Vehicle Technician.
Job Responsibilities for the Vehicle Technician role
Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on a fleet of light and heavy commercial vehicles.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using the latest diagnostic equipment.
Complete vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance.
Repair trailers and associated mechanical equipment.
Ensure all work is completed safely and to the highest standards.
Use specialist workshop equipment and tooling.
Work effectively within a busy workshop team whilst maintaining accurate job records.
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
Own tools required.
HGV licence and trailer experience desirable but not essential.
Full UK Manual Driving Licence.
Flexible to work a rotating shift pattern.
