Must have’s
Experience in an insurance technician, technical processing or insurance operations role
Good understanding of insurance principles and the policy lifecycle
Knowledge of broking, claims, premiums and/or delegated authority
Understanding of London Market processes and insurance distribution
Strong organisation skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
Confident using Excel and relevant business systems
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
CII Cert or equivalent technical knowledge/experience
Nice to have’s

Experience working within the London Market

Experience checking or quality-controlling colleagues’ work

Experience supporting or training less experienced team members

Knowledge of Power BI

Understanding of the relationship between technical processing and IBA
So, what will you be doing?
-
Process standard and increasingly non-standard insurance transactions and documentation
-
Manage and prioritise your workload to meet SLAs, deadlines and accuracy standards
-
Check documentation, data and management information for accuracy
-
Identify and resolve routine issues, escalating where needed
-
Carry out quality control checks on other technicians’ work
-
Support and train less experienced members of the team
-
Identify errors, omissions and potential risks and recommend appropriate action
-
Work closely with Technical and Broking teams and build strong internal relationships
-
Get involved in projects, process improvements and data quality initiatives
-
Adapt to changing priorities while maintaining a high level of service
