We are looking for a new Learning and Development Trainer to develop and deliver engaging learning and development programmes that build colleague competence, confidence and capability across Delta. The role will play a key part in supporting compliance with the Competence and Conduct Standard by designing, delivering and evaluating training that meets regulatory requirements and organisational priorities.
What you'll be doing

Develop and deliver high-quality learning programmes that support organisational priorities, regulatory requirements and workforce capability needs.

Lead the development and delivery of training programmes that support the Competence and Conduct Standard, ensuring colleagues have the skills, knowledge and behaviours required for their roles.

Work closely with managers and subject matter experts to identify learning needs and translate these into effective training solutions.

Develop expertise in key organisational learning programmes, including safeguarding, health and safety, customer service, management development and other priority topics.

Evaluate and report on the effectiveness of learning interventions, learner engagement and compliance levels, making recommendations for continuous improvement.
What we are looking for
-
Experience of delivering training that supports professional competence, behavioural standards, regulatory compliance or workforce development within a regulated environment.

Experience of developing training materials, resources and programmes that meet the needs of diverse audiences with differing levels of knowledge, skills and experience.

Excellent facilitation, coaching and presentation skills, with the confidence to engage, challenge and support learners with different needs and learning styles.

Ability to evaluate learning effectiveness, analyse feedback and learning data, and use insights to improve future learning interventions.

Confident using learning technologies and digital tools to create engaging learning experiences and maintain training records.
Please note the office expectancy of this role is as follows: This post will be expected to deliver training most days in a variety of formats, office expectancy will be up to 5 days a week.

25 days annual leave per annum, plus bank holidays, 3 extra days between Christmas and New Year and 1 wellbeing day per annum.

37 hours per week - employees may be able to work flexibly by agreement with their line manager, taking account of business need. We operate a hybrid working policy at Delta Housing Ltd.
