Tripod Partners are currently recruiting for an experienced Children's Social Worker to join a Children with Disabilities Team at Peterborough County Council.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Social Worker who is passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people with disabilities and their families.
The Role
You will be responsible for:

Managing a caseload of children and young people with disabilities

Completing assessments and statutory reviews
-
Developing and reviewing care plans
-
Working directly with children, young people and families
-
Identifying and managing safeguarding concerns
-
Working alongside schools, health professionals and other agencies
-
Supporting families to access appropriate services
-
Promoting positive outcomes, independence and wellbeing

Maintaining high-quality case records
About You
We're looking for a qualified Social Worker with:

A recognised Social Work qualification
-
Current Social Work England registration
-
Experience working within Children's Services
-
Experience with children with disabilities is highly desirable
-
Strong assessment and safeguarding experience

Excellent communication skills
-
The ability to manage a caseload effectively
