Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Tile Setter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tile installation, demonstrating proficiency in using both hand and power tools. As a Tile Setter, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the aesthetic appeal and functionality of various spaces.
Duties

Install tiles on floors, walls, and other surfaces according to design specifications and schematics.

Prepare surfaces for tile installation by cleaning, smoothing, and applying necessary adhesives.

Use hand tools and power tools effectively to cut tiles to size and shape as needed.

Ensure proper alignment and spacing of tiles during installation for a professional finish.

Perform necessary repairs or adjustments to existing tile work as required.

Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters and painters, to ensure cohesive project completion.

Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Requirements

Proven experience as a Tile Setter or in a similar role within the construction industry.

Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools relevant to tile installation.

Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings accurately.

Strong attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality work.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Previous experience in carpentry or painting is considered an asset but not essential.

A valid driver's licence may be required for transportation between job sites.
