Electrician, Prestwick, £840.00 basic per week, OT Paid at 1.5x, 40 hours per week, Temporary to Permanent

Responsibilities

Shift Times: Early: 5:30am–2:30pm | Late: 9:00pm–6:00am

Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance

Diagnose, fault-find and repair industrial equipment

Maintain control panels, wiring, motors and electrical systems

Maintain plant machinery including conveyors, process machinery and steam boilers

Complete electrical installation and system upgrade work

Respond efficiently to breakdowns and minimise production downtime
Requirements

Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Maintenance Engineer

Experience within FMCG, automated manufacturing or industrial environments
-
Food manufacturing experience preferred
-
Recognised Electrical NVQ qualification
-
Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
-
Ability to work rotating early and late shifts
