Air Conditioning Engineer - PPM
Location: Sites across the M25
Salary: £30,000-£37,000 per year, depending on experience
Contract: PPM works across Costa Coffee sites
We are looking for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to carry out planned preventative maintenance across a portfolio of Costa Coffee sites within the M25.
You will join an established building-services company specialising in air conditioning, refrigeration, ventilation, heating and controls. The business has a strong reputation for quality workmanship, reliability and professional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out planned preventative maintenance on air-conditioning equipment.
Service, inspect and test split, multi-split and VRF/VRV systems.
Clean filters, coils, condensers and associated components.
Check refrigerant pressures, temperatures and system performance.
Identify faults and complete minor remedial works where appropriate.
Report defects and recommend further repairs or replacement parts.
Complete service reports and compliance documentation accurately.
Liaise professionally with site managers and operational staff.
Ensure work is completed safely and with minimal disruption to customers.
Arrange for required materials and parts to be delivered directly to site.
Requirements
Current F-Gas qualification - essential.
Previous experience servicing and maintaining commercial air-conditioning systems.
Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
Able to work independently and manage a mobile workload.
Professional, reliable and comfortable working in customer-facing environments.
Good understanding of health and safety requirements.
Relevant air-conditioning or refrigeration qualifications are desirable.
Travel
A driving licence is not essential. Engineers may travel between sites by train and arrange for materials to be delivered directly to each location.
Candidates with a full UK driving licence will be provided with a company van.
