About the role
We are looking for an experienced, highly organised and proactive PA to provide professional and confidential support to the Headteacher.
This is a varied and rewarding role for someone who thrives in a busy environment, can manage competing priorities and takes pride in ensuring senior leaders are supported effectively.
You will work closely with the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team, providing day-to-day administrative and organisational support and helping to ensure the smooth running of the organisation.
Key responsibilities

Provide comprehensive PA and administrative support to the Headteacher.

Manage the Headteacher's diary, appointments, meetings and competing priorities.

Organise meetings, prepare agendas, papers and supporting documentation.

Attend meetings and take accurate minutes and notes.

Monitor and follow up actions arising from meetings.

Manage correspondence, emails and communications on behalf of the Headteacher.

Prepare letters, reports, presentations and other professional documentation.

Act as a professional point of contact for staff, parents, governors and external stakeholders.

Handle confidential and sensitive information with complete discretion.

Support the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team with projects, deadlines and key organisational priorities.

Coordinate events, appointments and important activities.

Maintain accurate records, filing systems and administrative processes.

Support effective communication across the organisation.

Provide additional administrative support to senior leadership as required.
About you
We are looking for someone with previous experience in a PA, Executive Assistant, senior administrative or similar role.
You will need to be:

Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.

Confident managing a busy diary and multiple competing priorities.

An excellent written and verbal communicator.

Professional, approachable and confident when dealing with people at all levels.

Able to work independently and use initiative.

Comfortable working under pressure and meeting deadlines.

Discreet and trustworthy when dealing with confidential information.

Confident preparing professional correspondence, reports and documents.

Experienced in organising meetings and taking accurate minutes.

Proactive, adaptable and able to anticipate the needs of senior leadership.

A strong team player who takes pride in delivering a high standard of work.
