We're looking for a Service & Breakdown Engineer to join a well established and growing team, supporting residential customers by ensuring their heating systems remain safe, efficient, and reliable.

The Role
As a Service & Breakdown Engineer, you will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, and repair of domestic heating systems, ensuring customers receive a professional and efficient service at all times.
Key Responsibilities

Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on a range of gas, oil, and solid fuel heating appliances.

Complete planned servicing and reactive maintenance work on boilers, fires, and associated heating systems.

Ensure all work is carried out in line with current industry regulations and safety standards.

Produce and maintain accurate service reports, safety documentation, and certification.

Manage van stock effectively and coordinate with suppliers when required.

Participate in an on-call rota to provide emergency support and assistance outside of standard working hours.

Deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining a professional approach at all times.
About You
To be successful in this position, you will possess a strong technical background and a proactive approach to problem solving.
Essential Requirements

Current domestic gas qualifications including ACS, CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, CPA1, HTR1, MET1, HWSS1, CMDDA1 and WREG.

Previous experience in a service and breakdown engineering role.

Strong diagnostic and fault finding skills.

Ability to work independently and manage your own workload effectively.

Commitment to maintaining excellent health and safety standards.

Full UK driving licence.
