About the Role
CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is seeking a Shift Engineer to join the engineering team at the prestigious flagship commercial property in the heart of the City of London.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the operation, maintenance and monitoring of building services systems, ensuring the building remains safe, compliant and operational at all times. Key Responsibilities

Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.

Operation and monitoring of BMS systems.

Fault finding on mechanical and electrical plant.

Management of building services systems
-
Support compliance activities and statutory inspections.
-
Escort and manage specialist subcontractors.
-
Completion of maintenance documentation and reports.
-
Participate in site emergency response procedures.
-
Support minor projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

LTHW & CHW systems

AHUs and FCUs

BMS systems

Fire alarm systems

Smoke ventilation systems

Pumps, motors and controls

Electrical distribution systems

Passenger lifts and associated equipment
Candidate Requirements
-
Recognised electrical or mechanical engineering qualification.

Previous experience within commercial building services.

Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
-
Knowledge of statutory compliance and safe systems of work.

Experience working within a critical or high-profile commercial environment would be advantageous.
