The Role
We’re recruiting an experienced Welder Fabricator for a well-established engineering and manufacturing business in the Mansfield area. This is a hands-on role working within a busy fabrication workshop, producing high-quality welded components to customer and production specifications.
The starting rate is £16 per hour, with the opportunity to increase to £18 per hour based on skill level, experience and welding capability.
Key Responsibilities

Fabricate and weld components to technical drawings and specifications

Carry out MIG/TIG welding to a high standard (depending on skill set)

Operate workshop machinery, tools and fabrication equipment

Measure, cut, assemble and finish metalwork accurately

Work safely and efficiently within a fast-paced workshop environment

Maintain excellent housekeeping and follow all H&S procedures

Inspect finished work to ensure quality and accuracy
What You Need

Proven experience as a Welder Fabricator

Strong MIG welding skills (TIG advantageous)

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

Confident using fabrication tools and workshop machinery

Good attention to detail and pride in workmanship

Reliable, hardworking and able to work independently or as part of a team
