We are recruiting for a Reward Advisor to join a large, established organisation within its wider HR / People function.
This is a varied role supporting the delivery of a broad range of reward and compensation activities, including salary reviews, bonus schemes, job evaluation, benchmarking, pay gap reporting and reward data analysis.
The role would suit someone with previous experience in Reward, Compensation & Benefits, HR or Finance who is highly analytical, confident working with large data sets and comfortable supporting employees and managers with reward-related queries.
Responsibilities will include:

Acting as an escalation point for more complex compensation and reward queries.

Supporting the annual salary review, early careers salary review and promotion / exceptional increase processes.

Supporting system configuration, data validation, reporting and query resolution as part of salary review activity.

Assisting with the administration of management bonus schemes, including participation records, calculations, reporting and payroll information.

Carrying out job evaluation and providing salary benchmarking information.

Maintaining job architecture and associated reward data.

Completing external salary survey submissions.

Supporting gender and ethnicity pay gap calculations and reporting.

Producing and analysing compensation data and presenting findings clearly through reports, graphs and dashboards.

Supporting reward presentations and communications to improve employee understanding of their overall reward package.

Contributing to projects aimed at continuously improving reward processes, systems and employee experience.
We are looking for someone with strong numerical and analytical skills who is comfortable working with detailed compensation data and managing multiple deadlines.
Ideally you’ll have:

Ideally 2+ years' experience working within Reward, HR, Compensation & Benefits or Finance.

Previous exposure to reward or compensation activity such as salary reviews, benchmarking, bonus schemes or job evaluation.

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including LOOKUPs, nested IF statements, PivotTables and data visualisation.

Strong numeracy and analytical ability with excellent attention to detail.

Experience working with HR systems.

Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.

The ability to work accurately to tight deadlines.

Confident communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels.

A problem-solving mindset and an interest in improving processes.

Experience using Oracle HCM would be beneficial, as would previous exposure to job evaluation methodologies or external salary surveys.
About the Opportunity
The role would suit either an existing Reward Advisor / Reward Analyst or an HR professional who already has solid hands-on experience of compensation and reward and would like to specialise further in this area.
This is a contract role, initially expected to run through to the end of the year but could be extended.
Standard hours are 35 hours per week.
