Plant Fitter – Blasting & Coatings

Denholm Industrial Services are recruiting an experienced Plant Fitter to join our team in Govan, Glasgow, supporting the maintenance and safe operation of site plant and blasting/coating equipment in a fast-paced construction environment.
This is a great opportunity for someone with strong mechanical expertise who takes pride in maintaining high safety and performance standards.
What You’ll Be Doing
Maintain and repair site plant and equipment
Carry out preventative maintenance and PUWER inspections
Ensure safe operation of blasting and coating equipment
Maintain accurate maintenance and compliance records
Support commissioning of new equipment
Assist with ISO and health & safety compliance
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience as a Plant Fitter or Plant Mechanic
Mechanical qualification or time-served apprenticeship
Strong knowledge of heavy plant machinery
Experience with hydraulic and electrical systems
Ability to work independently and under pressure
Good understanding of health & safety standards
