Protocol Education is currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Secondary Support Staff to work across a range of secondary schools in Huddersfield. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting young people and making a positive impact within education.
The Role
As a Secondary Support Staff member, you will work closely with teachers and students to create a positive and productive learning environment. Responsibilities may include:
Supporting students both in and out of the classroom
Assisting with behaviour management and pastoral support
Providing one-to-one and small group intervention
Encouraging student engagement and participation
Supporting students with additional learning needs where required
The Ideal Candidate
Experience working with young people, preferably in an education setting
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Resilient, adaptable, and proactive approach
A genuine passion for supporting students' educational journeys
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
