THE ROLE
As a Smart Repair Technician, you'll be responsible for carrying out high-quality cosmetic repairs to vehicles, using specialist techniques to achieve professional results efficiently.
Key responsibilities include:
·Carrying out SMART repairs to vehicle bodywork, paintwork and cosmetic areas.
·Repairing minor dents, scratches, scuffs and other cosmetic damage.
·Preparing surfaces and completing refinishing work to achieve a high-quality finish.
·Using appropriate SMART repair tools, equipment and techniques.
·Assessing damage and determining the most suitable repair method.
·Completing allocated repairs efficiently while maintaining excellent workmanship.
·Working closely with other vehicle repair technicians to maintain an efficient workflow.
·Following relevant quality, safety and workshop procedures.
ABOUT YOU
This opportunity would suit an experienced Smart Repair Technician / SMART Repairer / Cosmetic Vehicle Repair Technician who takes pride in delivering high-quality finishes.
You'll ideally have:
·Previous experience as a Smart Repair Technician or within a professional automotive repair environment.
·A recognised qualification (NVQ / IMI / City & Guilds or equivalent)
·Strong practical experience carrying out cosmetic vehicle repairs.
·Knowledge of SMART repair, minor bodywork and paint repair techniques.
·Excellent attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality workmanship.
·The ability to work efficiently while maintaining consistently high standards.
·Strong organisation and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
·A reliable, professional and flexible approach to shift working.
·A full UK driving licence.
