We are now seeking a motivated and highly organised Administrator to join our team and provide essential support to the operational and social work functions of the agency.
Job Description – Key Responsibilities

Providing general office and clerical support to the team

Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence (emails, calls, post)

Coordinating panel meetings, minute taking, and document distribution

Maintaining accurate and confidential records and filing systems
-
Assisting with data entry and updating the fostering management system
-
Supporting the recruitment and assessment process of foster carers
-
Handling DBS checks, reference requests, and training records
-
Ordering office supplies and maintaining stationery/equipment
-
Supporting compliance and audits through accurate document control

Maintaining confidentiality in accordance with GDPR and safeguarding policies
Person Specification – What We’re Looking For
Essential:

Proven experience in an administrative role (ideally in a social care, education, or healthcare setting)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong organisational and time-management abilities

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)

High level of attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to handle confidential information sensitively and professionally

A proactive, flexible, and team-oriented approach

Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people Desirable:

Experience working in a fostering, social care or not-for-profit environment Familiarity with fostering panel processes or compliance

Knowledge of data protection and GDPR requirements

Experience using fostering or care management software (e.g. CHARMS, Mosaic)
