We're Recruiting: Employability Trainer
I'm currently supporting a well-established and highly regarded training provider in Nottingham with the recruitment of an Employability Trainer.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced trainer, tutor or employability professional who is passionate about helping people develop the skills, confidence and qualifications needed to secure sustainable employment, apprenticeships or further education opportunities.
Working with learners from a variety of backgrounds, you will deliver engaging employability programmes covering areas such as CV writing, interview preparation, customer service, job search techniques, digital skills, health and safety and essential English and Maths.
You'll play a vital role in motivating learners, supporting achievement and helping individuals overcome barriers to employment while working towards positive progression outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging employability and vocational training programmes
Facilitate English, Maths and Digital Skills learning up to Level 2
Provide individual coaching and group-based learning sessions
Support learners to achieve recognised qualifications and outcomes
Develop lesson plans and innovative learning resources
Monitor learner progress, attendance and achievement
Conduct learner assessments and reviews
Liaise with employers, Job Centres and referral partners
Support progression into employment, apprenticeships and further learning
Maintain accurate learner records and quality documentation
Deliver face-to-face, community-based and virtual learning sessions
What We're Looking For
Recent experience delivering Employability programmes and supporting English and Maths delivery up to Level 2
Assessor qualification (A1, CAVA or equivalent)
English and Maths qualifications at Level 2 or above
Experience supporting adults and young people with diverse learning needs
Strong classroom management and learner engagement skills
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
Full driving licence and access to your own vehicle
Desirable
Teaching qualification at Level 3 or above
IQA qualification
Experience delivering online and digital learning
Experience delivering Health & Safety within a construction environment
Knowledge of government-funded training programmes
