Supply Chain Coordinator – Purchasing
Halifax | Up to £38,000 | Permanent
GPS Recruitment are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Coordinator to join a successful manufacturing business in Halifax.
This role would particularly suit someone from a Purchasing / Procurement / Supply Chain background who is confident dealing with suppliers, materials and stock within a busy manufacturing environment.
The Role

Ordering and expediting raw materials and components

Raising and processing purchase orders
-
Monitoring suppliers and delivery schedules

Managing stock levels and material availability
-
Resolving supplier and delivery issues
-
Supporting production planning and scheduling
-
Maintaining accurate information on ERP systems

Working closely with Production, Planning, Quality and Finance
About You
-
Minimum 2 years' experience in Purchasing, Supply Chain or a similar role

Ideally from a manufacturing environment

Confident dealing with suppliers

ERP and MS Office experience

Strong organisation and problem-solving skills

Good numerical and communication skills
Hours: 8:30am–5:00pm Mon–Thurs, 2:30pm finish Friday
Salary: Circa £38,000
