Multi Trades Recruitment is currently looking for an experienced Ground Worker to join a busy road works and civil engineering project in Gloucester.
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Ground Worker with a strong background in road works, civils and general groundwork. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for ongoing project work with a well-established site team.
About the Role
You will be working as part of a site team carrying out groundwork and road works duties, helping to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Duties Include:

General groundwork and civil engineering duties
-
Road works and highway maintenance
-
Excavation and trenching
-
Drainage and ducting works
-
Installing and working around kerbs, slabs and edging
-
Ground preparation and levelling
-
Concrete works and foundations
-
Operating hand tools and small site equipment
-
Assisting plant operators and other trades
-
Moving and preparing materials
-
Following site drawings and instructions
-
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Following all site Health & Safety procedures
About You:
-
Previous experience working as a Ground Worker
-
Experience within road works, highways or civil engineering
-
Good knowledge of general groundwork and site procedures
-
Able to carry out excavation, drainage and ground preparation works
-
Reliable, punctual and hardworking
-
Able to work effectively as part of a team
-
Good understanding of Health & Safety requirements
-
Full PPE required
-
Relevant CSCS/NPORS or other site qualifications advantageous
