Salter Grange is recruiting an experienced Electrical Engineer for a major data centre project in Vienna, Austria.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a large-scale, technically complex data centre project, working closely with the Electrical Project Manager and wider construction team.

Electrical Engineer Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and supervise electrical installation works on site.
Plan and schedule daily works for electrical teams and subcontractors.
Manage and coordinate electrical subcontractors, ensuring progress against programme.
Supervise the installation of electrical systems, equipment and materials.
Ensure all electrical works comply with safety standards, permits and relevant codes.
Coordinate electrical works with Civil, Mechanical and other project teams to avoid clashes.
Review method statements, work procedures and technical requirements.
Track scope changes, engineering changes, technical queries and non-conformances.
Liaise with the Electrical Project Manager on design requirements and project issues.
Monitor site progress and report key issues to senior management.
Support and develop electrical team members, including training and performance management.

Electrical Engineer Key Requirements

Degree-qualified Electrical Engineer or Industrial Engineer.
10+ years' experience in a similar Electrical Engineering role.
Previous data centre experience is essential.
Strong experience supervising electrical installation works on major construction projects.
Good understanding of electrical construction, coordination and site delivery.
Strong organisational and planning skills.
Excellent communication, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Strong IT and engineering software skills.
Ability to manage workload, prioritise effectively and work independently.
Strong team leadership and subcontractor coordination skills.
