Electrical Qualifying Supervisor (QS)

Salary: £52,000 per annum Contract: Permanent Location: Office-based

We are currently looking for an experienced Electrical Qualifying Supervisor (QS) to join an established electrical and maintenance team on a permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced electrician or QS looking to move into a stable, office-based compliance and supervisory role.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the company’s Electrical Qualifying Supervisor, overseeing electrical standards and compliance.
Review and monitor electrical installation, testing and remedial works.
Ensure electrical works are completed in accordance with BS 7671 and current regulations.
Review EICRs, electrical certificates and test results for accuracy and compliance.
Provide technical support and guidance to electricians and electrical teams.
Monitor the quality of completed electrical works and identify any remedial requirements.
Support the management of electrical compliance across projects and contracts.
Liaise with clients, contractors, engineers and internal teams regarding electrical requirements.
Maintain accurate compliance records and electrical documentation.
Assist with audits, quality checks and continuous improvement of electrical procedures.
Ensure company electrical policies and safe working practices are followed.
Investigate electrical issues and provide appropriate technical solutions.

Requirements

Previous experience working as an Electrical Qualifying Supervisor / Electrical QS.
Strong knowledge of BS 7671 and electrical inspection and testing.
Relevant electrical qualifications, ideally including 2391.
Experience reviewing EICRs and electrical certification.
Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Comfortable working in an office-based environment.
Ability to support and advise electricians and contractors.
Social housing / maintenance experience would be advantageous.
