A reliable and experienced Multi‑Skilled Plumber is required to support repairs, maintenance, and small works across a social housing portfolio. The ideal candidate will be a qualified plumber with additional skills in carpentry and general building maintenance. This role is essential in ensuring safe, high‑quality homes and delivering an excellent service to residents.
Key Responsibilities

Carry out plumbing repairs, installations, and maintenance across occupied and void social housing properties.

Diagnose and resolve plumbing faults, including leaks, blockages, heating system issues, and sanitary ware repairs.

Undertake basic to intermediate carpentry tasks such as:

Boxing‑in pipework

Fitting bath panels

Installing kitchen units or worktops

Door adjustments and minor joinery repairs

Complete multi‑trade tasks where required, including basic tiling, patch plastering, and general property maintenance.

Ensure all work meets relevant safety, compliance, and quality standards.

Maintain accurate records of work completed using job management systems.

Communicate clearly and professionally with tenants, colleagues, and supervisors.

Work independently or as part of a team to meet service level targets.

Participate in an out‑of‑hours rota (if applicable).
Essential Skills & Qualifications

NVQ Level 2 or 3 (or equivalent) in Plumbing.

Proven experience working in domestic or social housing environments.

Competent carpentry skills with the ability to complete small joinery tasks to a high standard.

Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.

Full UK driving licence.
