My client are a national civil engineering contractor who are currently seeking a Ganger / Supervisor to help deliver a Thames Water project, with an immediate start available. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Ganger with a strong civils and water background to join an established project team.
Ganger Responsibilities:

Toolbox talks
-
Supervising site operatives and subcontractors
-
Managing day-to-day site activities
-
Allocating labour, plant and materials
-
Client liaison
-
Health and safety compliance
-
Ensuring works are carried out in line with RAMS
-
Monitoring progress and reporting to the Site Manager
-
Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to specification
-
Maintaining quality standards and site records
-
Supporting the Site Manager with the day-to-day running of the project
Ganger Requirements:
-
CSCS
-
SSSTS preferred
-
Previous experience working on Thames Water or water infrastructure projects
-
Strong civil engineering background
-
Experience supervising site teams and subcontractors
-
Good understanding of RAMS, health and safety and quality requirements
-
EUSR Water Hygiene preferred
-
IT literate
-
Full UK driving licence
