Blue Arrow Derby is proud to be working in partnership with an excellent manufacturing company, and they are looking to recruit a Logistics & Transport Management Analyst candidate to join their team on a full-time permanent basis based at their Denby site.

What duties are involved in the Logistics & Transport Management Analyst role?

Contribute to the implementation, optimisation, and continuous improvement of transport management systems by acting as a key user and trusted partner for operational teams.

Supporting transport and warehousing activities, you help ensure reliable daily operations and maintain high service standards across the logistics network.

Your responsibilities include developing and maintaining KPI dashboards, reports, and performance templates using Excel and Power BI, enabling transparency and data-driven decisions.

After analysing operational data, you prepare business cases, cost analyses, and improvement initiatives that support both operational excellence and strategic development.

Close collaboration with management, you create presentations, performance reports, and insights that guide decision-making and highlight opportunities for optimisation.

Together with internal stakeholders and external logistics partners, you ensure smooth execution of processes and contribute to logistics-related projects and transformation initiatives.
What will you bring to the Logistics & Transport Management Analyst role?

You hold a degree or comparable qualification in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.

Experience: You have gained practical experience in transport and logistics.

You bring strong analytical capabilities, advanced Excel skills (including Power Query and Pivot Tables), and solid experience with Power BI for reporting and data modelling.

Experience in system implementation, key user roles, or involvement in logistics improvement projects would further enhance your contribution.

You approach complex challenges with structure, curiosity, and a solution-oriented mindset, while communicating insights clearly and confidently.

You work independently with a high level of responsibility and engage positively with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals.
