Role: Ocean Import Operator - Key Accounts
Location: Birmingham, West Midlands
Package: From £33,000+ plus 25 days annual leave + bank holidays + bonus
We’re working with an industry leading forwarder in the Birmingham area that are looking for an excellent and experienced Ocean Import Operator.

Responsibilities:

Handling Ocean/Sea Import freight shipments from start to finish

Looking after key customers, ensuring all their bookings are complete from Start to Finish

Ensuring customers are assisted and kept up to date of progress at all times.

Taking on responsibilities to ensure all customers queries are dealt with

Securing the best rates, maximising profit on jobs

Completion of Customs declarations - import/ export
Requirements:

Previous experience working on Ocean/ Sea Freight Shipments

Knowledge of complete operations process from Start to Finish including customs

Excellent customer service skills
