Questech Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of our client for a BOAS Engineer to join a busy manufacturing site in Leeds.
Location: Leeds
Salary: £32,000 – £38,000 DOE
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm or 7:00am–4:00pm
This is a great opportunity for an engineer with experience working with steam boilers who is looking to develop their skills within a well-established manufacturing environment.
The Role

Looking after and maintaining steam boilers across the manufacturing site

Carrying out routine boiler checks, inspections and maintenance

Monitoring boiler performance and identifying potential faults

Supporting breakdowns and ensuring equipment is operating safely and efficiently

Completing relevant maintenance and compliance documentation

Working closely with the wider engineering and maintenance team

Ensuring all work is completed in line with site health & safety procedures
The Person
-
Ideally 6+ months' experience working with steam boilers
-
BOAS qualification or relevant boiler experience
-
Experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment would be beneficial

Knowledge of steam systems and boiler operation
-
pH testing experience would be a bonus

Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills

Strong understanding of health & safety procedures
