We’re looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a busy and well-established workshop in Bury.

The Role
As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for servicing, repairing and diagnosing vehicles to a high standard.
Your duties will include:

Assessing repair requirements and identifying labour times

Identifying parts required and ordering where necessary

Carrying out road tests and diagnosing vehicle faults

Completing servicing, repairs and maintenance
-
Working across mechanical, electrical and electronic vehicle systems

Maintaining accurate job records and recording time against repairs

Following all Health & Safety procedures

Liaising professionally with customers when required

Working closely with the wider workshop team to deliver excellent service
About You
The ideal candidate will have:

Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance, City & Guilds or equivalent

A recognised apprenticeship or substantial relevant experience

Previous experience working as a Vehicle Technician

Strong mechanical, electrical and diagnostic knowledge

Full UK driving licence

Ability to use a wide range of workshop tools and equipment
Around 3 years’ post-qualification experience is preferred.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday: 8:30am – 5:30pm
Alternate Saturdays: 8:30am – 12:30pm
Average working week of approximately 42 hours.
There is also the option to work one full Saturday every four weeks if preferred
