Job Duties

The job primarily consists of straightforward depot-to-depot network trunking and Regional Distribution Centre (RDC) deliveries.

No manual handling: There is no handballing or loading/unloading involved.

Trailer style: You will primarily pull box and curtain-side trailers.

Turnaround: The role focuses on dropping and swapping trailers, alongside coupling and uncoupling duties
Shift Lengths
Start Times & Windows
The operation runs heavily on an afternoon and night schedule, utilizing distinct start windows:

Day window: 6:00 to 13:00

Early afternoon window: 13:00 to 16:00

Late afternoon window: 16:00 to 19:00

Night shift window: 19:00 to 22:00

Monday to Friday

Sunday to Thursday

Tuesday to Saturday

Casual/Ad-hoc shifts are also available for those wanting flexible rest days.
Requirements

Hold a valid UK C+E (Class 1) driving licence.

Possess a valid Driver CPC card and Digital Tachograph card.

Understand EU Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive (WTD) legislation.

Have no more than 6 minor points on the driving licence, with no major codes like TT, DD, or DR. [1]
