Plumber (Domestic Housing Association)

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Plumber to join our team working across a portfolio of domestic housing association properties. This is a two-year fixed-term contract providing planned maintenance, repairs, and installation work within occupied residential homes.
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering a high-quality service to tenants, ensuring all plumbing work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities

Carry out plumbing repairs and maintenance in occupied and void domestic properties.

Install, repair, and replace pipework, taps, toilets, baths, showers, sinks, and associated fittings.

Diagnose faults and complete remedial works in a timely manner.

Undertake bathroom and kitchen plumbing installations as required.

Ensure all work complies with current health and safety regulations and company procedures.

Maintain accurate records of work completed using job sheets or handheld devices.

Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with tenants and colleagues.

Participate in an on-call rota if required.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:

NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Plumbing (or equivalent recognised qualification).

Proven experience working as a plumber in domestic residential properties.

Experience working within social housing or housing association environments is desirable.

Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively.

Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills.

Full UK driving licence.

Strong communication and customer service skills
