Delivery Driver – Chilled Foods
Location: Chelmsford
Position: Temporary to Permanent (T2P)
Start Time: 3:00 AM – 4:00 AM
Pay: £12.90 per hour Monday–Friday / £14.00 per hour alternative weekends
Permanent Salary: £26,832 per annum after 12 weeks
The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for 2 reliable Delivery Drivers to join an established food distribution company in Chelmsford on a Temporary to Permanent basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for drivers looking for long-term, stable work, with the opportunity to secure a permanent position after 12 weeks.
You will be responsible for delivering chilled food products to approximately 15–20 customers per day across the Southeast of England. All routes are pre-planned, allowing you to work efficiently and manage your deliveries throughout the day.
Please note that this role involves early morning starts between 3:00 AM and 4:00 AM, so candidates must be comfortable with early starts.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver chilled food products to approximately 15–20 customers per day.

Follow pre-planned delivery routes across the Southeast.

Safely load and unload chilled food products.

Ensure deliveries are completed safely, accurately and on time.

Provide a professional and friendly service to customers.

Complete delivery paperwork and relevant documentation.

Carry out basic vehicle checks and report any issues.

Follow all company health, safety and food hygiene procedures.
Pay & Benefits

£12.90 per hour Monday–Friday.
