We are currently recruiting for an experienced Firestopper to join a long-term freelance project based across East London.
This is a long-term opportunity for a reliable and experienced Firestopper, with consistent work available for the right individual.
The Role

Carrying out firestopping and passive fire protection works across residential and social housing properties.

Installing firestopping systems including mastic, batt, collars, wraps and other associated products.

Completing remedial firestopping works in line with project specifications and manufacturer requirements.

Working to the required quality, safety and compliance standards.

Completing works efficiently and professionally while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.

Working across multiple sites throughout East London.
Requirements
-
NVQ Level 2 in Passive Fire Protection – essential.

Previous experience working as a Firestopper / Passive Fire Protection Operative.

Good knowledge of firestopping and compartmentation works.

Manual Handling qualification.

Asbestos Awareness.

Working at Height.
-
Must have your own van.

Must have your own tools.

Must be able to work on a self-employed/CIS basis.

Reliable, professional and able to work independently.

Social housing or occupied residential experience would be advantageous.
Package
-
Up to £210 per day, dependent on experience.

Long-term freelance work.

Self-employed / CIS.

Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm.
