We are looking for an experienced Strip & Refit Technician to join a busy vehicle repair team based in Hoo, Medway.
This is a great opportunity for a skilled technician who is confident working on vehicles and has strong attention to detail.
The Role
As a Strip & Refit Technician, you will be responsible for removing and refitting vehicle components as part of the repair process.
Your duties will include:

Stripping vehicles prior to repair

Removing damaged panels, trims and components

Refitting panels and vehicle components following repairs

Working alongside panel beaters and other technicians

Ensuring all components are correctly fitted and functioning

Maintaining a clean and organised working area

Following health and safety procedures
About You
The successful candidate will:
-
Have previous experience in a Strip & Refit Technician or similar role

Have good knowledge of vehicle components and bodywork
-
Be confident using hand and workshop tools

Have excellent attention to detail

Be able to work independently and as part of a team

Take pride in producing a high standard of work

Be reliable and hardworking

Have your own transport / be able to drive, as the Hoo location can be difficult to access by public transport
