We are currently recruiting for an experienced Level 2 Pest Control Technician to join an established pest control business, covering Middlesbrough and the surrounding areas.
This is a van-based position offering a competitive basic salary of circa £29,000, with the opportunity to increase earnings through overtime and commission.
The Role
As a Pest Control Technician, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of customers across the Middlesbrough area, carrying out inspections, treatments and preventative pest control services.
Your responsibilities will include:

Carrying out routine pest control inspections and treatments

Identifying and treating a range of pest issues

Managing your own diary and customer portfolio

Providing customers with professional advice and recommendations

Completing service reports and relevant documentation

Identifying opportunities for additional pest control services

Maintaining high standards of customer service

Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with industry regulations
Requirements
The successful candidate will ideally have:

Level 2 / RSPH Level 2 Award in Pest Management or equivalent

Previous experience working as a Pest Control Technician

A full UK driving licence

Good knowledge of common pest species, treatments and prevention methods

Strong communication and customer service skills

The ability to manage your own workload and work independently
