Setting Out Engineer

£300 - £350 per day

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Setting Out Engineer to join a major infrastructure project in Bridgend.
This is an excellent opportunity to secure long-term freelance work on a busy site, with competitive day rates available depending on your experience, project background and whether you can provide your own setting out equipment.
The Role
-
Carrying out all setting out duties on site.

Establishing and maintaining control points.

Ensuring works are delivered to specification and within required tolerances.

Producing and maintaining accurate as-built records.

Interpreting technical drawings and site documentation.

Working closely with site management and subcontractors.

Supporting quality assurance and resolving engineering issues as they arise.
Requirements
-
Proven experience as a Setting Out Engineer.

Previous work on civil engineering, infrastructure, utilities or similar projects.

Competent in the use of surveying and setting out equipment.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

Valid CSCS card.

Own setting out equipment advantageous and may command a higher day rate.
