We are currently recruiting for an experienced Field Service Generator Engineer to join a well-established and growing power generation business. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer looking for strong earning potential, excellent benefits, and long-term career development.
The Role
As a Field Service Generator Engineer, you will be responsible for the service, maintenance, fault finding, and repair of diesel generators ranging up to 1250 KVA across a variety of commercial and industrial customer sites.
You will work on both Stage 3 and Stage 5 equipment, carrying out planned maintenance and reactive breakdown support while delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities

Service, maintain and repair diesel generators up to 1250 KVA

Carry out electrical and mechanical fault finding

Diagnose and repair Stage 3 and Stage 5 engines

Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM)

Attend breakdowns and emergency call-outs

Complete service reports and documentation accurately

Maintain high health & safety standards at all times

Provide professional customer support on-site
Requirements
-
Previous experience working on diesel generators

Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills

Experience working with generators up to 1250 KVA

Knowledge of Stage 3 and Stage 5 engines preferred

Full UK driving licence

Ability to work independently in a field-based role
