Established sheet metal manufacturing company based in Redditch are currently looking for a CNC Setter/Operator to join their growing engineering team.
Previous experience in setting and operating 3-Axis Hurco CNC milling machines is essential to fulfil the role of CNC Setter/Operator. Within this role you will be offered free car parking, competitive rates of pay and an early finish on Friday’s. Offered on a temporary to permanent role, this position of CNC Setter/Operator is available for immediate start.
Duties of CNC Setter/Operator:

Set up and operate 3-axis Hurco CNC milling machines

Load, prove and run programs (Hurco conversational and/or G-code)

Set tools, work offsets and fixtures

Read and work from engineering drawings

Carry out first-off inspections and in-process checks

Adjust offsets and tooling to maintain tolerances

Produce parts to a high quality and consistent standard

Identify and report any machining or quality issues

Ensure all work is carried out safely and to company procedures
Skills and attributes required by CNC Setter/Operator:
Location: Redditch, Worcestershire
Hours of work: 7am-4pm (Monday-Thursday) Friday’s: 7am-1pm
Pay: £15 per hour
