Our client is looking for a skilled and reliable Welder / Fabricator to join the team in Droitwich.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced welder/fabricator with a background in heavy fabrication and commercial vehicles.
The Role
As a Heavy Welder / Fabricator, you will be responsible for fabricating and MIG welding large and heavy-duty equipment to a high standard.
Your duties will include:

MIG / TIG welding heavy-gauge materials up to 20mm

Using 1.2mm welding wire when working on large and heavy equipment
-
Fabricating components and assemblies to engineering drawings
-
Reading and interpreting detailed drawings and specifications

Ensuring all work is completed accurately and to the required quality standards

Working efficiently to meet production deadlines

Experience Required

Minimum 4 years' experience as a Welder / Fabricator

Minimum 2 years' experience working with commercial vehicles

Proven MIG / TIG welding experience

Experience working with heavy-gauge materials

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
